Beam TV+ | Support | How do I turn off the motion settings on my TV to reduce video lag?
If you’re experiencing video lag or delays when watching TV, the issue may be caused by a built-in feature called Motion Enhancement. These features are designed to make fast-moving images look smoother, but they can sometimes interfere with video performance.
Turn off all motion-related settings on your TV. This simple step can help improve video playback and reduce lag.
1. Go to your TV’s Settings Menu. This is usually accessed through your remote by pressing the “Settings”, “Menu”, or “Gear” icon button.
2. Look for Picture or Display settings. Navigate to the section that controls video settings, often called Picture, Display, or Advanced Settings.
3. Find and turn off motion features. Look for any setting that includes the word “Motion” and disable it. The exact name depends on your TV brand.
Please note: Older models may use slightly different names, but any setting with “motion” in the name should be turned off.
