Beam TV+ | Devices | How do I set up my Fire TV Stick?
There are a couple things you will need in order to set up and run your Amazon Fire TV Stick which are not provided by us.
- An HDTV (720p or higher) with an HDMI port works best with the Fire Stick. If your TV uses RCA or component inputs, adapters are available upon request.
- You’ll need to register it to your Amazon account. If you bought it through your Amazon account, it’s likely already registered.

Connecting your Fire TV Stick
1. Connect the USB cable to your Fire TV Stick and the power adapter. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
2. Plug the Fire TV Stick into an HDMI port on your TV. Use the HDMI extender if needed.
3. Switch to the correct HDMI input. You’ll see the Fire TV logo as it loads.
4. Put in the two AAA batteries. The remote should pair automatically. If not, hold the “Home” button for 10 seconds.
5. Once paired, press “Play/Pause” on the remote to begin.
6. Use the remote to highlight your language, then press the “OK” (center) button to select it.
7. Your Fire TV Stick will show a list of nearby networks. Pick yours and enter the password.
Register Fire TV Stick with an Amazon account
If you bought it with your Amazon account, it might already be registered. If not, follow the on-screen steps to sign in or create an account.
1. Choose “I already have an Amazon account” to sign in, or select “I am new to Amazon” to create a new account.
2. You’ll be asked if you want to save your Wi-Fi password to your Amazon account. Choose “Yes” if you have other Amazon devices.
3. If you’ve used this account before, you may see a “Restore” option. Select “Restore” to reinstall your previous apps.
4. Click “Get Started” to pick some popular apps to install now.
Pair Fire TV Stick Remote with your TV
1. Press “Next” on the screen.
2. Then press the volume up and volume down buttons. Make sure the remote is pointed at the TV, it needs a clear line of sight to work.
3. Click “Yes” if you heard the volume change. If you didn’t, click “No” to try again. Once your Fire TV remote is successfully synced, a confirmation message will appear on the screen.
Download the Beam TV+ App
- From the Fire TV Stick home screen click on the “Appstore”.
- Then navigate to “Search” and press the “Select” button
- You can then type Novus into the “Search” bar or press and hold the Alexa voice button for faster searching
- The Novus Beam TV+ application will be found under apps and games.
- Click on the application and begin the download.
- Once the app is installed, you can go ahead and open it. You will be prompted for your username and password that Novus provided.
