Beam TV+ | Devices | How do I connect my Fire TV Stick to the internet?

Make sure your Fire TV Stick is actually connected to Wi-Fi.
1. Go to “Settings” on your Fire TV Stick home screen.
2. Select “Network”.
3. Highlight your Wi-Fi network and press the “Play/Pause” button on your remote. It will show if you’re connected or not.
If you’re not connected, sometimes restarting your router can fix the problem. Here’s how:
1. Unplug your router from the wall. Wait 30 seconds.
2. Plug it back in and wait about 5 minutes for it to fully restart. Try connecting your Fire TV Stick again.
If restarting the router didn’t help, try rebooting your Fire TV Stick.
Option 1: To restart using the menu, go to “Settings”, select “My Fire TV”, choose “Restart”, and confirm.
Option 2: Using the remote hold down the “Play/Pause” and select buttons together for about 5 seconds.
Option 3: Unplug the Fire TV Stick from the TV or power outlet, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
Things like walls, metal, and even microwaves can mess with Wi-Fi signals. Try this:
1. Move any electronic devices away from the Fire TV Stick and router.
2. Turn off other devices (like cordless phones or baby monitors) one at a time to see if something is interfering.
3. If possible, try moving your router or Fire TV Stick to a better spot.
