Beam TV+ | Devices | Fire TV Stick Not Responding to Remote

Fire TV remotes use more power than regular remotes. If it suddenly stops working, the batteries are likely dead. It uses two AAA batteries.
Remotes usually come paired with the Fire TV Stick, but sometimes you need to pair it manually:
1. Plug the Fire TV Stick into your TV and turn everything on.
2. Once it boots up, hold the “Home button for at least 10 seconds.
3. If it doesn’t pair, try holding it for 10–20 seconds again. You may need to try a few times.
The Fire TV Stick can only connect to 5 Bluetooth devices. If you’ve hit the limit, the remote won’t connect.
To disconnect other devices:
1. Go to “Settings”.
2. Select “Remotes & Bluetooth Devices”.
3. Pick a device to remove and follow the instructions on screen.
If the normal pairing didn’t work, try this:
1. Unplug the Fire TV Stick from power.
2. Hold down these three buttons together for 20 seconds:
3. Plug the Fire TV Stick back in and try pairing again.
You can also control your Fire TV Stick using the Amazon Fire TV app, available on iOS and Android. Just make sure your phone and Fire TV Stick are on the same Wi-Fi network.
