How to Rename your WiFi Network and Change the Password on Your U4/U6 Router
1. On any one of your devices, connect to the router using an ethernet cable or by logging into the default wi-fi network. Once connected, open a browser and enter the following URL into the address bar, then press Enter: http://192.168.1.1
2. At the login prompt, enter the user/password located on the side of the router. The user should be “admin” and the password will be after the “/”.
3. From the home page, hover over the left-hand menu, then click:
- Wifi
- Primary Network
You can change the wi-fi network name by editing the SSID field.
You can change the password by editing the Password (Security Key) field.
Click Apply to save any changes.
